About our CEO
Hello, I'm Violet R Ket, and I started DSO Help in response to growing needs for quality international student support and ever-shrinking budgets for international offices at educational institutions. I'm a seasoned higher education leader, PDSO and international compliance guru with a decade of experience optimizing student services and international offices.
My professional experience is marked by progressively growing responsibilities in student advising, strategic planning, staff and team development, operational efficacy, project management and fiscal planning. I thrive on solving problems, writing policy and interpreting government regulations.
I also love helping students and taking that extra step to personally ensure that all of their questions are answered. I've designed and conducted orientations and seminars on regulatory topics (CPT, OPT, employment) for places like Los Angeles Film School, UCLA, and the Colburn Conservatory. I'm a dedicated NAFSA member and have an extensive network of international advisors. I also serve on several NAFSA Committees for Region XII.
